BIO
Following a career spanning twenty years, from scenography to horticulture, teaching, and studies in literature and art history, Catherine Granche chose the practice of contemporary jewelry. She began her studies in 2011 at the École de joaillerie de Montréal and continued her training with workshops and master classes in Quebec and the Netherlands. Her work has been featured in exhibitions across Canada, the United States, and Europe and is presented at Galerie Noel Guyomarc’h, Montreal; Galerie Lewis, Quebec City; Galerie L.A. Pai, Ottawa; and Mobilia Gallery, Cambridge, USA. Working primarily with ceramics and sterling silver, her current research questions our relationship with food and the environment as cultural elements and social concerns.
